To Paris

   



To Paris
 
Whenever it will happen
what happened long before,
whenever I can find again
what I can find no more…
however dry the water,
however wet the air:
I want to go to Paris
and cut my flaxen hair.
 
When all what happened never
what I’ve done till now
I’ll stay and wait forever
to see the prudent crow .
If ever I was lying,
if ever I was true:
I want to go to Paris
to break my new glass shoe.
