I Like You

Sitting on that couch,

Dark all around us,

Everything seems quiet,

Our friends and the movie,

All I feel is happiness,

Your arm around me,

My head on your chest,

Our hands together,

Occasionally you rest your head on mine,

You joke and cover my eyes,

You scratch my head,

When I look up at you,

We smile at each other,

Those eyes of yours,

They’re beautiful,

Your touch makes my heart stop,

When I see you,

Talk to you,

Play around with you,

I am completely oblivious

to my surroundings,

All that counts is that you’re there,

I like you,

And now all I need to know is

Do you still like me, too?
