Fergal Dunne

I, Me, Me and Mine

The Tempest aroused inside my head.
The long dark walk to bed.
I'm feeling oh so wicked,
Think I'll stay up instead.
Another bottle, another line,
Nothing now but clocks and time
And all I can feel inside,
Is I me, me and mine.

The room is spinning far and near.
My vision is a little unclear.
I'm feeling out on a limb,
Maybe just one more beer.
Another cigarette, another sign.
Nothing now but relax and recline.
And all I can hear inside,
Is I me, me and mine.

My explanation it surprisingly fails me.
I suffer a moment of regret.
I'm feeling you see through me.
What I said yesterday I already forget.
Another moment, another rhyme,
Nothing but alone and divine.
And all can see inside,
Is I me, me and mine.
