Rainfall

Hear the pouring rain
that is crying for you
since you cannot cry anymore.

See the morning sky above
that is mourning for you
as your heart has turned to ice.

Your feelings have changed
to a lonesome grey stone,
left on the desert’s ground.

The wind, your only friend,
blows your song to the stars
comforting you in obscure nights.

Regenfall

Höre den strömenden Regen,
der nach dir weint, weil du
nicht mehr weinen kannst.

Sieh zum Morgenhimmel,
der um dich trauert,
da sich dein Herz
in Eis verwandelt hat.

Deine Gefühle haben sich verhärtet
zu einsamem, grauem Stein,
zurückgelassen in der Wüste.

Der Wind, dein einziger Freund,
trägt dein Lied zu den Sternen,
dich tröstend in düsteren Nächten.
