Regine Andrieu

Coquinerie

Sur son visage pale, souriant,
On devine une plaisanterie,
Un petit coup d’enfant,
Une mesquinerie.

Ses yeux sont rieurs,
Farceurs,
Ses lèvres sont crispées,
Se retiennent, sont coincées.

Sortira-t-il ce rire retenu,
Tant attendu,
Eclatera-t-il à pleine voix,
Sera-t-il plein d’effroi.

Rira-t-on à gorge déployée,
Serons nous contaminés.
Ce rire sera-t-il communicatif,
Ou dubitatif.

Il se tortille,
Frétille.
Sans doute nous portera-t-il vers l’inconvenance,
La connivence,

Ces secondes d’hésitation,
Ces secondes d’excitation,
Nous mènent à la jubilation,
Et c’est si bon.

Il a rit aux éclats,
Et nous sommes restés béa,
Béa de voir cet enfant,
Enfin expulser et rayonnant.

C’était un bonheur immense,
Plein d’importance,
Nous avons rit, rit, rit…
De cela encore je souris.
