Living the Life of an Old Dog

Old dogs have knowledge
and things
they've learned, thats why-
when the fire is burning,
they don't
get burned.

Old dogs find
them a spot and there
they stay
Until the morning says,
"Its another day"

Old dogs can deal with
stress and strain.
They're used to pain.
Old dogs know that-
they're old, they know
they aint young; they don't
have to be told-

Old dogs don't gripe; but
sometimes they groan.
Old dogs don't live forever;
but their legend lives on!
