Relaxing
atmosphere
of gentle
melodies
in an empty pub
gradually
changing
by guests
that stream in
like noisy insects.
Voices mix up
with music,
will soon drown out
an accordion’s tune.
Candle light
not intimate enough
to fade away
pale daylight
oozing through
high windows.
But shadows creep
out from corners
and flow timeless
slowly into the room
together with
candle light
in crystal screens.
