Suburb

Flat brick houses:

red-brown patterns

of a garden landscape.
Similar-shaped,

similar-looking

beneath a pale

spring sky,

beneath

oppressing clouds.

But flowers

cover walls

with different colours,

and I know the colours

of the flowers

around the house

I live for some days.

Vorort

Flache Backsteinhäuser:
rotbraune Muster
einer Gartenlandschaft.
Ähnlich gebaut,
gleichförmig
aussehend
unterm blassen
Frühlingshimmel,
unter bedrückenden
Wolken.

Blumen jedoch
bedecken Mauern
mit verschiedenen Farben.
Ich kenne die Farben
der Blumen um das Haus,
in dem ich für
einige Tage wohne.
