Michael Glauer

Tell me

It would be nice if there's a god

If there's somebody watching us

With one eye for my pretty girl

And one eye for the rest at last

It would be nice to have a chance

To see my parents are proud of me

Without a tear for my regrets

And all the men I used to be

So tell me are we lonely,or aren't we able to see the love?

Please tell me can we live here with at least one sense above?

For the children and what they may become

After the night, waiting for the daylight come

So many people died for none

A lot of dreams are drowned

Beside the frightened victories

Where are they announced?

It's not easy to believe in us

That's why I wrote these words

It's not easy to see it all

All the pain we've got hurts

So tell me are we lonely,or aren't we able to see the love?

Please tell me can we live here with at least a sense for us?

For the people and what they may become

After the dawn of day, before the drying evening sun

Lucky the man who found love

Please tell them where to find

If it would be that easy

Leave the past behind

So tell me are we lonely,or aren't we able to see the love?

Please tell me can we live here with at least one sense above?

For the children and what they may become

After the night, waiting for the daylight come
