I know what happened down there
Dad doesn’t know I know but I know
Every time I go down there I have to think about it
Visualize it
Was this where they found the body
How could we still be living in this house
His own Dad found dead right here
It’s quiet
Could his ghost still be down here
Sometimes I think so
Too much to take in
Again
I grab a Diet Coke out of the basement refigerator and go back upstairs
I’ll be back down though
I like to lock my friends down there after I tell them the story
It makes me laugh
Brutal
Why can’t I be ok
I wonder what the real story was
