Deep In The Forests

Nightfall in the dark gone forests

As I stumble through the night

As I listen to the tree tops whispering

I know that I’ll be alright

Where there’s nothing but silence

I feel like home, while sadness comforts me

Only owls in the dark and they’re quietly watching

How my tears turn into a sea

I pick a tree and I wrap my arms

Around it’s peaceful, mighty trunk

Deep down inside I feel the endless life

Of it’s roots and it makes me shrunk

I beware of it’s power,

Yet I grab it tight

Try to suck up the strength

And get me some of it’s might

Deep down in the forests

I feel like coming alive

Where the tree tops are whispering

That’s where I find sense in life
