Dream On

Once you wistfully wondered,
And ever since I've poundered.

What if I'd wondered with you?
Would you have been an adventurer?
Still the dream lingers on...

Memories stream like photographs
Documenting something conceptual.

Eternal feeling transmits
In moments, only to regret
entering a childish illusion of truth

So I dreamt a little dream of you,
And now we're through
And if you ever wondered,
Then I'd tell you to stay put.
Forget the castles and run from clouds,
Reality is a thunderous moat gathering sound.
