Anche se su molte
cose che accadono all’esterno
non posso influire in alcun modo
posso comunque determinare
l’effetto che gli eventi
hanno nel mio intimo

Even though there are many things
that happen in the outside world
over which I have no control
I can still determine
how the things that happen
affect me on the inside
.

Auch wenn ich bei vielem
was im Äußerem geschieht
nichts beeinflussen kann
so kann ich doch bewirken
wie die Dinge, die geschehen
in meinem Innerem wirken
