Bosnia and Herzegovina - a little hymn
Where frogs still croak in shaded ponds
and fragrant meadows bloom beyond,
where snakes lie basking in the sun
and emerald waters softly run
Where bears and lynxes wander free
and people live with courtesy,
where one may drink and gladly dine
on Oriental treats divine
Where waterfalls in thunder roar,
woods covering mountains evermore,
where dragonflies in sunlight play
and golden lilies bloom away
Where bats at dusk fly all around
and beetles move on woodland ground,
where emerald lizards silent stay
and trouts in crystal rivers sway
Within this land one loves to roam,
to find deep peace and nature’s home,
drink rakija, eat Bosnian stew,
enjoy the coffee - mocha true
