Sebastian Harreus

An gort i gcéin

Evening settled

soft as flour dust

on the table and chairs

and every day‘s chores.

In the house

the small blue glow of things

went on breathing

for everyone.

Outside, a gate moved

once in the wind.

And somewhere far off

a field remembered rain

before it came.
