The Six Main Pillars of Existence
— and the corresponding state of consciousness —




1) The Dark Universe

95% of the entire cosmos!

    Dark Energy → approx. 72%

    Dark Matter → approx. 23%

Only dark processes.
Only invisible phenomena.
No observers.
No consciousness.

(Except, of course, that of the Action-God.)

A universe that practically nobody perceives.

Eternally just:
“Whispering in the dark”? ;-)

Even for a creator,
that would eventually become unsatisfying.

So the next expansion stage follows:

2) The Visible Universe

Barely 5% of the cosmos
— only a tiny appendage —

For the first time, there appear:

    visible matter,

    stars,

    galaxies,

    physical and chemical structures.

And yet:

Still, nobody exists
who consciously experiences this universe.

No eyes.
No thoughts.
No questions.

(Except for the Action-God himself.)

Sure:
It all looks much prettier now.

But even billions of galaxies become boring eventually
if nobody is amazed by them.

So even a glowing cosmos is still not enough.

And therefore arises:

3) Biological Life

Much later.

Almost delayed.

Amid the gigantic cosmic processes,
something entirely new suddenly appears:

Life.

Sensation.

Instinct.

First animal consciousness (?).

To the dark processes
and the visible physical-chemical structures,
biology is now added for the very first time.

The cosmos begins,
very faintly,
to feel itself.

For the Action-God,
things finally become more interesting.

But mere life is still not enough.

Because animals do not admire galaxies.

They develop no cosmology.

They do not ask about their origin.

So the next escalation level goes online:

4) Intelligences

Non-technological Civilizations

Again, much later.

Now beings emerge
with pronounced life-consciousness.

But still without real cosmic knowledge.

The result:

    myths,

    spirits,

    gods,

    religions,

    primitive explanations of the world.

The heavens are admired —
but not understood.

And cosmically speaking,
this is still only a tiny appendage of the appendage:

A single intelligent species
on an inconspicuous planet
around an ordinary star
inside an average galaxy.

But for a narcissistic Action-God,
mere worship is not enough.

His creations should eventually begin to suspect
how absurdly gigantic all of this really is.

So one decisive thing is still missing:

Cosmic consciousness.

And with that begins:

5) Technological Civilizations

Only technology makes possible:

    astronomy,

    physics,

    space travel,

    particle research,

    cosmology.

Only now does reliable knowledge emerge
about the microcosm and the macrocosm.

The creatures begin to comprehend
in what an unfathomable universe they exist.

And precisely here,
the great sentence is heard for the first time:

    “My God …
    who or what created something this unbelievable?!”

The Action-God is probably grinning internally at this point. ;-)

But apparently,
even this is still not the end.

Because the final stage is still missing:




━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
6) SUPER-Technological Civilizations

With maximum cosmic consciousness.

They decipher:

    the structure of matter,

    the dynamics of the universe,

    space and time,

    black holes,

    quantum fields,

    perhaps even other universes.

Now they come dangerously close
to their creator.

(Evil tongues now call him:
the “megalomaniac riddle-uncle.”)

Perhaps they ultimately expose
the entire game.

Or they realize something even more disturbing:

That even with total knowledge,
the final truth remains unreachable.

And therein may lie
the greatest trick of the Action-God.

Because a completely solved mystery
might ultimately become boring
even for him.

Thus the cosmos remains,
despite all knowledge,
forever this:


the greatest unsolved adventure of consciousness.
