BROTHERS AND SISTERS OF THE TWO EARTHS / / / Version–2

No one noticed the exact moment when everything began. There was no explosion in the sky, no global alarm, and no solemn announcement by governments. At first there was only a single point of light, discovered by a few amateur astronomers above the Pacific — a strangely calm, perfectly stable glow that matched no known satellite.
A few hours later, automated observation systems also detected the object. Then a second light appeared. Then a third.
By sunrise, space radars reported something no one had expected: a vast convoy was slowly approaching Earth’s orbit. These were not individual craft. The objects formed a gigantic formation — orderly, precise, almost like an artfully choreographed swarm.
When the first telescopes were directed at them, the scientists fell silent. The spacecraft were gigantic. And above all — they were transparent. Inside, movements could be seen. Figures.

In the control center of the European Space Agency in Cologne, no one was speaking anymore. Images appeared on the screens that seemed to belong more to a film than to reality: kilometer-long spacecraft gliding silently through space like a majestic procession.
“These are … inhabited structures,” someone finally whispered.
The image resolution improved. Now it could clearly be seen that thousands of figures were moving inside the ships. Some wore colorful garments, others masks. It almost looked like a gigantic celebration.

No one understood what was happening there. Governments around the world were alerted, news channels interrupted their programs, and speculation exploded across social networks.
This time it was not a strange celestial phenomenon.
Something was really coming.

Three days later, the convoy reached Earth’s orbit. There it split into six enormous formations that slowly spread around the planet.
The first formation consisted of completely transparent ships. Behind the glass-like hulls moved thousands of masked figures.
And then something unexpected happened. Suddenly the entire Earth heard music.
It appeared simultaneously on all frequencies: on radios, satellite channels, and communication networks. A light, lively melody began to play. Then a voice sang — first in German, then in English, French, Spanish, and soon in dozens of other languages:
“Brothers and sisters … let us all be united …”

Shortly afterward the second formation appeared above Europe. This time the sky vibrated with powerful electronic rhythms — trance, techno, pulsating bass. The enormous ships looked like floating concert halls in which thousands of figures were dancing.
More formations followed. One brought classical music and great choirs. Another turned the sky into a colorful carnival spectacle — masks, costumes, and dances as if from Cologne, Rio, and Venice all at once. Yet another filled the sky with strange, almost mystical chants.
Humanity watched — fascinated, confused, speechless.

On the fourth day the first official message arrived. It appeared simultaneously on all communication systems on Earth. A calm, clear voice spoke — and was immediately translated into every human language.
“Inhabitants of Earth. We come from a world we call Terra-2. Your world we call Terra-1. We do not come as conquerors.”

In the government centers of the world, people held their breath.

The voice continued:
“In the region of the universe we have explored, many Earth-like planets exist. But technological civilizations are rare. Very rare. You are among them.”
People asked the obvious question: Why are you here?
The answer came a few hours later.
“We have observed your world for a long time. We have seen your conflicts — your wars and your fears. But we have also discovered something else. Something that is unusual in this universe.”

A short pause.
Then the voice said:
“Your ability to experience joy together. Music. Dance. Laughter. In a vast, often silent cosmos, such moments are precious.”

Not all people welcomed these visitors. Some military alliances declared the fleet a threat. Missiles were launched.
The world watched.
The projectiles reached the alien ships … and disappeared.
Seconds later they appeared again — on exactly the same trajectory, only in the opposite direction. Back toward their launch bases.
The extraterrestrial defense systems had simply reversed the attacks.

No further missiles were launched.

Instead, the spacecraft began a strange journey across the planet. One after another they positioned themselves above the great cities of Earth: Tokyo, New York, Lagos, São Paulo, Paris, Delhi.
Each time the same thing happened.
For a few minutes the electricity failed. The cities sank into darkness.
Then the sky lit up.
Above the rooftops hovered the gigantic transparent ships — brightly illuminated, full of music and movement. Inside, thousands of figures were dancing.
And from the speakers the same melody sounded again:
“Brothers and sisters … let us all be united …”

At first people only watched. Then some began to laugh. Others sang along.
And in some cities something unexpected happened: people suddenly began dancing together in the streets.
When that happened, the spacecraft slowly moved on and flew to the next city — as if that had been exactly the answer the visitors had been waiting for.

Finally a second message came.
“Inhabitants of Terra-1. Our intention is simple. We want to show you that another future is possible. In a universe that is almost empty of conscious civilizations, every world that produces joy and creativity is of immeasurable value. We do not want to rule you. We want to be your partners.”

Then came an offer that would change humanity forever:
“Those among you who wish may choose. To travel the universe with us. Or to explore time itself.”
And for the first time in human history, the most important question was no longer:

Are we alone in the universe?
But rather:
Are we ready to become part of it?
