Jürgen Wagner

Wanderlust

We roam so far, we roam so wide,
we know the world from every side
We’re driven on, we’re never still
we have no peace, only our will

We wander out to foreign skies,
seek every place that might entice
Yet how it weighs, to simply stay
and live this one and only day

We hurry off, we’re gone again,
forever seeking hill and glen
But peace arrives in softly breeze
when I return to me in ease
