POETRY AND MUSIC

...and of these, since they are and exalt keys to universal and magnificent excellence, let us say:
are they not, alongside the light of sound, architectures of ineffable rhythm, harmony, and melody,
in search of synaptic channels of the soul and authentic ones of the world...?

For ah, ah, beauty, ah,
and ah, life, light, and power when they are together and together they burn to shine;

...of a lily thread and a rose petal,
of a sudden flash, a glimmer, or a radiance,
of a dual and intimate being:

the human,
the divine;

...therefore, woe to music, with its pulse and voice of civil and immortal consensus,
woe to its discourse of affection and intimate alliance,
its joy, its jubilation,
its redeeming love, exhaling aromas of astonishing and ineffable wonders,

and woe, woe to the poem that does not instruct and embrace the canon and virtue of its temple-laws, woe;

...from the depths of an iPhone—into the air—emerging, at this very moment, is an exceptional song,
that one, “Two of Us,” by John Lennon and Paul McCartney,
the same one that, in its depths, would unite and shelter forever, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates.
