Robert Fischaleck

We are the same

Every day the darkness melted
and every night the sun disappeared
and sometimes there was a full moon
and sometimes it has been hidden by clouds
and sometimes there was no moon visible
but the sun rised again,
as if nothing had happened.
And it called me
and every creature of the day
and the creatures of the night went to sleep.

And so many days and nights I've been through
and every daylight I dont want to end
and every nighttime I want to never strike again.
And everyone feels alike
I have not met anybody
who does not wish the same.
Yet we still think we are different
And some hide in pride
and some hide in pain
and some hide in intelligence
and some hide in believes.
