Moonlit Night

Once upon a moonlit night I came
And on a moonlit night I will go
And though your star may fall for now
The moon will keep my name

By the moonlight in your dream
I may rise out from the depths
As earth sends out her silent breaths

I may rise

The lonely shepherd in the fields
Takes care of your sleepy shield
To guard your night
And guide your light
To where all dreams are kept
Where no soul has ever wept
Your spirirt will be swept - to me

The lonely shepherd in the fields
May rise out from the moonlit night

The moon will be your guide
