Orage

En pleine matinée il fait nuit,

le ciel pend bas son ventre lourd,

la pluie tombe dru, plonge tout le pays

dans un gris obscur et escamote le jour.

 

De temps en temps jaillit la foudre,

suivie d’un roulement de tambour,

le monde paraît en train de se dissoudre,

se liquéfie, s’efface tout autour.

 

Quand la lumière enfin revient,

tout ruisselle et toutes les fleurs

se penchent lourdes après ce bain,

la terre respire la nouvelle fraîcheur.

 

Bien sûr, après l’orage ravageur

l’espoir reprend et reste vainqueur.
