The Dream

It is time that leads you through a misty forest
It is a thought that has not yet come to pass
When moonlight leaves its footprints behind
Like strings of pearls in an air, filled with memory
You may feel it getting closer,
Prowling in the dark
The future watches your moves

It is a dream that keeps it alive
The knowledge of freedom and choice
The picture of endless fields behind trees
It is a dream that makes you leave the way
You can feel the moss, smooth and wet under your feet
You believe to be free
But step by step, the path is bound to find you again
