Linda Ruthenberg

Would it matter

Would it matter to you

If I just left

I'm afraid it wouldn't

And you won't tell

Would you realize

If I was close to tears

I don't think you would

And you won't care

Does it make you wonder

If my eyes look tired

I don't think you'd see it

And it brings me down to earth

Would you listen to me

If I said I worry

I don't think you'd bother

You just keep on going

There're so many things

You don't see and care about

My head says something's wrong

But is it just my head or is it us?
