Mariëlle van Toor

Silence

Silence
Is like the endless sea
Sounding like bronze, warm chime,
An untouchable voice
Of immeasurable grace
More fragile than a tar blossom
Standing in moonlight
Too pale to grasp
But stronger as any rock and fort
And  nearly wonderful
