Between Blackholes and Oblivion

Merciful dream, leave me at peace. Linger not, I beseech thee, on the paths I tread.

With my purpose found illusory, I seek not the need

Summer, in its long absence finally returned to bring my death.

Spirits forsaken and forgotten, cradled in the arms of crypt,

Belial lay claim to their bones and take them far beneath.

Dread I, as fate, bludgeoning like a raging tempest, at long last, dried up my breath

By dead reckoning, I sailed across the darkness with the looming ghost of the past.

As the ashes of the fiery dawn lifted, so did my heart,

In my dearth, with head unbowed, I whispered a faithless prayer to stir the gods above.

Saccharine blasphemy in the symphony, of hoarse voices, sung by the exaltation of larks

“Of loathe and of dote, spawned I…

A seraph, a devil, widdershins, an omen of ill fate

Demented death bed chained to a wraith.”

Misery, ever dearest, come and take me by the hands so I shan’t weep no more,

Lest tomorrow is promised, I weep no more, evermore.

Not long ago, a forbidden union of star-crossed lovers hell-bent on ravaging innocent worlds fell from the skies,

As that of the realms in the east where the blazing sun collapsed,

Scorching the earth whilst plumes of black tears flowed down unto parched throats

And the sulfur smoldering their pride

..And the reign of pandemonium was upon them

The echoes of silence crawled up my spine

In futile attempt, I cling upon the line

With our destiny intertwined

I share this delusion with my bride

The heaven that I have long sought

Lay nowhere-but in her eyes

She glimpsed at me as I faded to oblivion

Though her name were written on the stars, one day she will find them gone

Her angels come rushing to the sun

To exorcise the demons buried in the depths of her song

While lights go dim in her eyes

In the darkness she will be desensitized

The velvet world she created

Is spindled with my pride

Merciful dream, leave me at peace. Linger not, I beseech thee, on the paths I tread.

With my purpose found illusory, I seek not the need

Summer, in its long absence finally returned to bring my death.

Away my life she bled
