EL GUARDIÁN DEL AGUA


 

 

… bajo sus auras de rubí y de diamante, brillando cegadoramente, los vi venir;

yo tomé y esgrimí mi tosca lengua céltica, y paciencia, y valor,

y luz aún por descifrar;

pero con el corazón ardiendo los llevé al manantial de agua viva,

y de él bebieron;

[mientras, regué mi laurel,

más aún, prendí mi candil]

… nos despedimos justo junto al brocal del aire,

donde medra la rosa pura y blanca,

donde todo es camino y los mundos parten en todas direcciones;

… estoy velando la virtud del agua

y es de noche;

los arcontes de fuego beben al amanecer.
