Michael Glauer

For my Own

Scenes from a nighmare

I wake up in my bed

Raindrops at the window

There was nothing I said

But still a candlelight

Which shines very bright

There’s an old picture

Next to the door

It’s showing you and me

Lying on the shore

There’s a crack between us

But I had’nt the guts

So that’s a song for my own

I know what I miss

Now I’m finally all alone

And it’s not just the kiss

I should have tell you

As how much I love you

I miss your heart next to mine

As I shared your breath

Love as long as love can be

But love can die, ours is dead

I understand what you’ve meant

As your last bye was sent

So that’s a song just for me

You’ll never hear it

You don’t know how wispy I am

I never told you-I admit

Just the one thing I intend to do

Tell you how much I loved you

So that’s a song for my own

I know what I miss

Now I’m finally all alone

And it’s not just the kiss

I should have tell you

As how much I love you

Whoohoohoo...I will do

Yeah yeah yeah...tell you

Whoohoohoo...it’s all true

Yeah yeah yeah...I shall tell you
