Hallo Christina,

es gelingt dir, das auch lautlich sehr hübsche Gedicht in der Schwebe zwischen Heiterkeit und Bedauern zu halten.

Grüße von Agathon

Dear Christine

there`s a species of linden trees, which smell like honey but doesn't have nectar. Thus the bumble bees die of starvation.
Your bumble bee died of tipsiness - is that possible?
Anyway, your poem is very fine.

Kindest regards
Irene

Answer by Christina Dittwald (22.04.2013):
Hello, dear Irene, I think it is a real linden tree, because the ground is always slippery and sticky with pollen. So I assume the bumble bees did eat/drink too much of a good thing. Not all of them, but it really is a phenomenon. And birds really are watching closely for a free treat. Thank you for reading my poem and your kind comment ! Good night Christina
